Banque SA has announced the renewal and strengthening of its strategic
partnership with Visa Inc. for a three-year period, a move aimed at
accelerating the development of digital payments in the Democratic Republic of
the Congo.
The
agreement reflects a shared commitment by both institutions to modernise the
country’s payments ecosystem and introduce more secure and innovative financial
solutions tailored to growing digital usage.

Under
the partnership, Solidaire Banque plans to introduce a new generation of Visa
cards, including Classic, Platinum and Infinite cards, designed to provide
customers with expanded payment options and enhanced service offerings.
The
bank will also roll out prepaid payment solutions aimed at widening access to
electronic payments, particularly for customers seeking flexible alternatives
to traditional banking services. In addition, the initiative will introduce
digital cards with instant issuance through Visa Pay, enabling customers to
access payment services more quickly and conveniently.

The
collaboration will further support the launch of targeted credit offers and
specialised services for premium banking customers.
Solidaire
Banque said the strengthened partnership with Visa forms part of its broader
strategy to support the digital transformation of the banking sector in the
Democratic Republic of the Congo while promoting a more connected and inclusive
financial ecosystem.
