STELLARIX,
an Axian Telecom company has participated in a technology-focused event in
Madagascar aimed at advancing the digitisation of public archives as part of
broader efforts to modernise public service delivery.
The
event, held under the theme “Secure The Past, Build The Future,” was organised
by INC Solutions and featured the “Studia Inc Digital Experience,” which
brought together key stakeholders from government, the private sector, and the
technology ecosystem.
The
gathering was attended by the Ambassador of France to Madagascar, Arnaud
Guillois, alongside the Managing Partner of Hermes Conseils, Joséphine
Soanorondriaka Andriamamonjiarison. The session was hosted by the Managing
Director of INC Solutions Madagascar, Jean-Claude Fioravanti.
Discussions
at the event centred on technological solutions designed to digitise largely
paper-based public archives, a key component of the PRODIGY project. The
initiative seeks to strengthen identity management systems and improve access
to public services across Madagascar.
Participants
highlighted the importance of preserving historical records while transitioning
to digital systems that enhance efficiency, security, and accessibility. The
digitisation of archives is expected to play a critical role in supporting
governance, administrative processes, and citizen engagement.
The
event also brought together technology partners and service providers
contributing to the initiative, including representatives from reciTAL,
Stratow, and FIREFLIES, among others, reflecting a collaborative approach to
advancing Madagascar’s digital transformation agenda.
