Côte
d’Ivoire’s Ministry of Digital Transition and Technological Innovation has
convened a strategic workshop focused on enhancing managerial performance as
part of efforts to strengthen public sector leadership amid ongoing digital
transformation.
The
three-day workshop, taking place from March 24 to 26 in Abidjan, is being
chaired by Minister Djibril Ouattara and brings together senior officials and
directors from across the Ministry. The engagement aims to align leadership
capacity with the country’s broader ambition of becoming a leading digital
nation.

Speaking
at the opening, Minister Ouattara underscored the importance of strong
management practices in driving effective public policy and institutional
performance. He noted that as digital transformation accelerates, the role of
leadership in ensuring agility and innovation within public administration has
become increasingly critical.
The
workshop is structured around three core focus areas: strengthening leadership
and managerial culture, promoting organizational agility and change management,
and leveraging innovation to improve public sector performance.
Officials
are expected to examine practical approaches to improving internal
coordination, enhancing decision-making processes, and fostering a culture of
continuous improvement within the Ministry.

The
initiative reflects Côte d’Ivoire’s commitment to building a responsive and
efficient public administration capable of supporting its digital
transformation agenda and delivering improved services to citizens.
