Director General Timothy Ashong, have paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of
Radio and Television of Côte d’Ivoire, Jean Martial Adou, to reinforce
collaboration in satellite broadcasting services.
The
meeting, which included RASCOM representative Lydie Garba, focused on the
longstanding relationship between the two institutions and opportunities to
deepen cooperation.

Discussions
highlighted the use of the RASCOM satellite by the Ivorian national broadcaster
since 2012 to support various broadcasting operations. Both parties
acknowledged the effectiveness of the partnership and explored ways to further
strengthen it.
Officials
indicated that the collaboration could serve as a model for other member states
seeking to enhance their broadcasting infrastructure through satellite
technology.
RASCOM
reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Ivorian Radio and Television Agency
as part of broader efforts to improve connectivity and advance digital
broadcasting across Africa.
