TECH7, presided over this G7 cycle by numeum has participated in the G7 Digital
Working Group, part of the French G7 Presidency.
TECH7, which brings together leading technology
industry associations including AFNUM, ANITEC-ASSINFORM, JEITA, Bitkom,
DIGITALEUROPE, Information Technology Industry Council (ITI), techUK, and
TECHNATION, contributed the perspective of the digital ecosystem to the G7’s
digital agenda.

Discussions focused on key priorities such as secure
and trustworthy artificial intelligence, boosting AI adoption for economic
growth, strengthening the resilience of the digital sector, and protecting
minors online. TECH7 emphasized the role of collaboration across the global
technology industry to shape policies that support innovation while ensuring
safety and inclusivity.
Anissa Kemiche, Director of European
and International Public Policy at numeum, highlighted the importance of
cross-industry engagement, noting that TECH7’s participation allows the digital
sector to provide actionable insights to G7 policymakers and strengthen
international cooperation in emerging technologies.

The
engagement group plans to continue collaboration with its partners and
stakeholders to support the ongoing development of G7 digital policies and
initiatives.
