Madagascar has unveiled a new media library and digital centre at the
University of Antsiranana, marking a significant step in advancing digital
education and skills development in the country.

The
facility is designed to provide students with access to digital resources,
training opportunities and a collaborative environment to support innovation
and talent development. The initiative forms part of the company’s TANORA NOW
programme, which aims to promote digital inclusion through accessible and
high-quality training aligned with current technological demands.
Officials
indicated that the centre will serve as a platform to equip young people with
the skills needed to participate effectively in the digital economy, while
fostering a generation that is educated, connected and prepared for evolving
global opportunities.

The
inauguration also included a courtesy visit to the Mayor of Antsiranana,
reflecting ongoing collaboration between the private sector and local
authorities to support regional development.
Yas
Madagascar noted that the project underscores its long-term commitment to
investing in youth and strengthening the role of digital technology as a driver
of inclusive growth.
