The
African Mathematics School (EMA) has officially opened at Gamal Abdel Nasser
University of Conakry, marking a significant milestone for scientific training
and research in Africa.
The
EMA aims to advance digital transformation, artificial intelligence
applications, and sustainable development through high-level mathematics
education.

Supported
by the West African Institute of Mathematics, the school will focus on
nurturing young African talent and promoting excellence in scientific research
across the continent.
Officials
highlighted that the initiative reinforces commitments to higher education,
research capacity, and human capital development, which are essential for
fostering inclusive and sustainable growth in Africa.
