Guinea has taken a significant step in its digital transformation agenda with the launch of the GovStack Workshop in Conakry, aimed at strengthening the delivery of interoperable and citizen-centric public services.

The initiative, coordinated under the WARDIP project, focuses on laying the foundation for a modern digital administration capable of delivering efficient, accessible, and seamless e-services across government institutions.

Fodé Youla, Senior Advisor to the Minister at the Ministère des Postes, highlighted the importance of the workshop in driving institutional collaboration and aligning stakeholders around a shared vision of digital governance.

The GovStack framework emphasizes interoperability, enabling different government systems to communicate and operate cohesively, which is considered critical to improving service delivery and enhancing user experience for citizens.

The initiative is being supported by development partners including the World Bank, reflecting a broader commitment to leveraging digital innovation as a driver of national development.

Officials noted that the workshop represents a key milestone in Guinea’s efforts to build a responsive and inclusive digital state, with a focus on bringing government services closer to citizens through technology-enabled solutions.
