The
Minister of National Education, Literacy and Technical Education of Côte
d’Ivoire has held discussions with a senior African Union official on
strategies to improve education outcomes and modernize school infrastructure.

Koffi received Professor Gaspard Banyankimbona during a meeting held at the
Minister’s office in Abidjan.

The
discussions focused on key priorities within the education sector, including
strategies to sustainably raise learning outcomes and initiatives aimed at
rehabilitating and modernizing school infrastructure across the country.
Both
parties emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between Côte
d’Ivoire and the African Union in order to support inclusive, efficient, and
future-oriented education systems that respond to contemporary development
challenges.

The
engagement forms part of broader regional efforts to align national education
reforms with continental education and innovation agendas.
