A
total of 35 participants have graduated from The Innovator’s Launchpad
programme at the National ICT Innovation Hub, marking the completion of a
six-month initiative designed to transform early-stage ideas into market-ready
solutions.

The
programme guided participants through a structured process focused on product
development, business validation, and enterprise growth, equipping them with
the technical and entrepreneurial skills required to build scalable ventures.
Throughout the training period, the innovators received support from a network
of mentors who provided critical guidance in refining business models and
strengthening execution strategies.
Organisers
said the Launchpad is part of broader efforts to build a sustainable innovation
ecosystem and develop a pipeline of technology entrepreneurs capable of
contributing to Uganda’s digital transformation agenda.

Beyond
individual startup development, the initiative is also aimed at fostering job
creation and expanding opportunities within the country’s growing technology
sector. The National ICT Innovation Hub noted that the programme continues to
play a role in shaping the next generation of innovators and supporting the
evolution of Uganda’s digital economy.
