NCBA
Rwanda has hosted the Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Rwanda (NBR),
Nick Barigye,and a delegation from the central bank at its head office for
high-level discussions focused on strengthening the country’s financial
ecosystem.
The
meeting, attended by NCBA Rwanda Managing Director Maurice Toroitich and
members of the bank’s Executive Management Committee, provided a platform for
dialogue on advancing financial inclusion, enhancing economic resilience, and
supporting sustainable growth within Rwanda’s banking sector.

According
to the bank, the engagement enabled both institutions to align on shared
priorities and explore opportunities for deeper collaboration in building a
more inclusive and robust financial system.
Discussions
also focused on the role of financial institutions in expanding access to
banking services, supporting economic stability, and driving innovation across
the sector.

NCBA
Rwanda described the meeting as a strategic step toward reinforcing
partnerships between the private sector and regulators, as Rwanda continues to
strengthen its financial infrastructure and promote inclusive economic
development.
