Airtel Nigeria has reaffirmed its commitment to
advancing Nigeria’s digital economy during its participation at the Huawei
Nigeria Mobile Congress 2026 held in Lagos.
The event, hosted by Huawei,
brought together industry leaders to discuss the future of digital
transformation under the theme “Advancing the Digital and Intelligent Future.”
Discussions focused on the role of artificial intelligence, high-speed
connectivity and intelligent network infrastructure in shaping next-generation
digital ecosystems.
Airtel Nigeria’s Chief Executive Officer and members
of the company’s leadership team joined stakeholders in examining how emerging
technologies can support innovation, economic growth and digital inclusion
across the country.

The company emphasised its role
beyond traditional telecommunications services, positioning itself as a key
enabler of opportunities for entrepreneurs, students and creatives by providing
the infrastructure needed to scale ideas globally.
Officials highlighted ongoing
investments in network modernisation aimed at delivering faster, more resilient
and intelligent connectivity solutions to meet growing demand in Nigeria’s
digital landscape.
The
