MTN South Sudan has held a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Youth and Sports to deepen collaboration on national youth empowerment and development priorities.

The delegation engaged with Mary Nawai Martin to discuss strategic focus areas including youth employment, engagement, empowerment, and the structural challenges affecting service delivery.

MTN South Sudan Chief Executive Officer Mapula Bodibe reaffirmed the company’s commitment to advancing digital inclusion and skills development among young people. She highlighted ongoing investments in ICT hubs across Juba, Bor, Wa, and Torit, including a dedicated ICT hub for visually impaired users in Juba, with further expansion planned across additional states.

Discussions also covered MTN’s role in supporting sports development, including youth participation, talent development, and broader opportunities for livelihood creation.

Both parties agreed to explore collaborative initiatives aimed at strengthening sports infrastructure, supporting youth centres, enhancing league development, and improving visibility for youth-focused programmes, with the goal of delivering measurable impact for young people across the country.
