Discussions
on strengthening Guinea’s telecommunications and digital economy have taken
place between the Ministry of Communication, Digital Economy and Innovation and
international partners, focusing on long-term infrastructure planning aligned
with the country’s SIMANDOU 2040 development strategy.
The
Minister of Communication, Digital Economy and Innovation Mourana Soumah
engaged in high-level exchanges with industry stakeholders on building an
efficient and economically viable digital model to support national
transformation goals.

The
talks also highlighted the completion of Guinea’s Digital Development Master
Plan, delivered by TACTIS in collaboration with national authorities, marking a
key milestone in shaping the country’s digital roadmap.
The
President of the International Commission on Digital
Infrastructure Strategic Committee, Stéphane Lelux emphasized
that the initiative forms part of a broader long-term partnership aimed at
supporting the evolution of Guinea’s digital economy and strengthening its
telecommunications sector.

The
engagement further reflected ongoing international cooperation efforts,
including support from French institutional and private sector actors, aimed at
enhancing investment, expertise exchange, and digital infrastructure
development.
These
efforts are positioned within Guinea’s broader ambition to leverage digital
transformation as a key pillar of its economic diversification and long-term
development strategy under SIMANDOU 2040.
