The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI), in collaboration with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), has opened applications for its 2026 Summer Internship Programme aimed at equipping university students with practical digital and professional skills.

The programme, which will be delivered both online and across NTI branches nationwide, targets first-, second- and third-year students from a wide range of disciplines including engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, commerce, mass communication, fine arts, applied arts, and specific education.

According to the organisers, the 120-hour programme combines 90 hours of technical training and 30 hours dedicated to freelancing and soft skills development. Training areas include cybersecurity, software development, data science, cloud computing, system administration, artificial intelligence, electronics, digital arts, and digital marketing.

The initiative is designed to bridge academic learning with industry requirements, while also strengthening students’ employability and readiness for the digital economy.

Participants who successfully complete the programme will receive certification from the implementing institutions.
