The Ministry of ICT in Eswatini has concluded the third day of its Change Agent Training Workshop under the Digital Eswatini Project, marking another step in the country's efforts to accelerate the digitisation of public services and improve government service delivery.

The workshop brought together designated Change Agents from various government ministries and agencies, providing them with the skills and frameworks needed to support and lead digital transformation initiatives within their respective institutions.

According to organisers, participants demonstrated strong commitment to advancing the government's digital agenda, with discussions focusing on strategies to make public services more accessible, efficient, and responsive to the needs of citizens.

A key component of the training was a comprehensive 90-day implementation structure and milestone planning exercise, which equipped participants with practical tools for managing organisational change and driving the adoption of digital solutions across government.

The programme formally entrusted the Change Agents with the responsibility of championing digital transformation efforts within their institutions. Their role is expected to be critical in supporting the rollout of new digital services, fostering innovation, and ensuring that public sector reforms are effectively implemented.

The workshop also saw the launch of the Digital Eswatini Change Agent Network, a collaborative platform designed to promote knowledge sharing, accountability, and continuous learning among change leaders across government.

The initiative forms part of the broader Digital Eswatini Project, which seeks to modernise government operations, expand digital service delivery, and strengthen the country's digital ecosystem. Officials believe that empowering public sector leaders to manage change effectively will be essential to achieving the project's long-term objectives and delivering improved services to citizens across the country.
