Ghana
Communication Technology University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding
with Hainan University aimed at strengthening international collaboration in
education and research.
The
agreement is expected to facilitate academic exchange programmes, joint
research initiatives and collaboration in key areas such as information and
communication technology, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

The
partnership follows a high-level delegation visit from Hainan University,
reflecting shared ambitions to advance technology-driven education and expand
global knowledge exchange between the two institutions.
Officials
indicated that the collaboration will create new opportunities for students and
faculty, while supporting innovation and research development in emerging
digital fields including artificial intelligence, data science and advanced
technologies.

The
two universities said the initiative represents a strategic step toward
building global academic networks and enhancing capacity in science and
technology education.
The
partnership is also expected to contribute to the development of skills and
expertise required to support the evolving demands of the digital economy.
