Yas Tanzania Chief Executive

Balwire have met with Zanzibar’s Minister of Finance, Hon. Dr. Juma Malik Akil,
to discuss continued partnership, digital infrastructure expansion and efforts
to advance digital inclusion across Zanzibar.
The meeting forms part of
Yas Tanzania’s commitment to supporting Zanzibar’s digital transformation and
strengthening connectivity to unlock new opportunities and contribute to
sustainable economic growth.
According to Yas Tanzania,
the discussions focused on strengthening the partnership with the Revolutionary
Government of Zanzibar, expanding digital infrastructure and promoting wider
access to digital services across the archipelago.
The telecommunications
company said it remains committed to supporting Zanzibar’s digital
transformation as a trusted digital ally, contributing to a more connected and
inclusive digital future.
“Together, we are building a
more connected and inclusive digital future,” Yas Tanzania said in a statement
announcing the engagement.
