Digital Center Sénégal has hosted an institutional visit from the Head of
Institutional Partnerships of Handicap International - Humanity & Inclusion
Germany, highlighting ongoing collaboration to support youth skills development
and inclusion.
The
visit focused on the Master’s Repair programme, implemented in partnership with
the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit and Handicap
International. The initiative delivers short, practical training courses
designed to equip participants with hands-on technical skills.

The
20-day training programmes provide beneficiaries with competencies in areas
such as electronic device repair and the installation and maintenance of solar
panels, with a focus on enhancing employability and fostering entrepreneurship.
During
the visit, stakeholders reviewed the programme’s impact and explored
opportunities to strengthen professional integration pathways for young people,
particularly those from underserved communities.
Organizers
noted that the initiative reflects a broader commitment to promoting inclusive
digital and technical education, supporting sustainable livelihoods, and
advancing youth empowerment in Senegal.
