Togo
has expanded its Accelerated Digitalization of Public Administrations Program
(PDAAP) with the inclusion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation,
African Integration, and Togolese Abroad, marking the third ministry to join
the initiative. The rollout, which began on March 31, 2026, is expected to be
completed within four weeks.

The
programme forms part of the country’s broader national digital transformation
strategy aimed at modernising public administration and improving citizens’
access to government services. It focuses on implementing rapid and practical
reforms to enhance efficiency, strengthen transparency, and develop accessible
digital public services.
The
initiative is led by the Ministry of Public Service Efficiency and Digital
Transformation, with support from several institutional and technical partners,
including the Togo Digital Agency, Togo Data Lab, Yas Togo, digi.job, Cyber
Defense Africa, the National Cybersecurity Agency of Togo, IPDCP Togo, and a
network of Digital Ambassadors providing technical expertise.

The
official launch meeting was chaired by the Minister of Public Service
Efficiency and Digital Transformation, Cina Lawson, alongside the Minister of
Foreign Affairs, Prof. Robert Dussey. The expansion of the programme reflects
the government’s continued commitment to accelerating digital transformation
across key public sector institutions.
