Telecel Centrafrique launches 4G+ services in Bangui to expand national connectivity

Telecel
Centrafrique has officially launched its 4G+ technology services in Bangui,
marking a significant milestone in the expansion of digital connectivity in the
Central African Republic.
The
launch event, held at the Lory village hall, was attended by the Minister of
Digital Economy, Posts and Telecommunications Justin Gourna Zacko, alongside a
delegation from the Telecel Group led by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Moh Damush, as well as members of the Telecel Executive Committee chaired by
Irène Moussa-Kembe.
The
introduction of 4G+ services is aimed at strengthening nationwide mobile
broadband coverage and improving access to high-speed internet services across
the country.
Speaking
at the event, stakeholders emphasized the importance of modern
telecommunications infrastructure in driving digital inclusion, supporting
economic activity, and enhancing access to digital services.
Telecel
Centrafrique indicated that the rollout forms part of its broader strategy to
extend 4G coverage across the Central African Republic, with the goal of
ensuring more reliable and faster connectivity for users nationwide.
