Telecom has hosted students from several tertiary institutions for a dialogue
session on artificial intelligence, the future of work, and digital
transformation as part of activities marking World Telecommunication and
Information Society Day.
The
“Bridging Minds” exchange session was held at Telecom Tower in Port Louis and
brought together around 15 students from institutions including the University
of Mauritius, Université des Mascareignes, University of Technology, Mauritius,
Open University of Mauritius, and Polytechnics Mauritius.

The
discussions focused on how education systems are adapting to rapid
technological change and the growing influence of artificial intelligence on
employment and digital skills development.
Chief

session where participants exchanged views on industry trends, emerging
technologies, and the evolving digital economy.
